I can always tell when I have family coming to visit, because it rains. It can be dry as a rock for 3 or 4 months, but as soon as someone in my family plans a trip down here, the clouds roll in. I have family coming in town from yesterday until Friday, and the forecast calls for heavy showers from Sunday night to Friday.
On other days, when it is sticky and hot, we make the rain. We turn the sprinkler on and fill up the wading pool and cool ourselves off. Here are some pictures from our latest rainmaking experience.
